Kids are very welcome at the chalet!
We have three young kids, so understand the importance of having a well equipped holiday property
Kid friendly equipment at the chalet:
- Two large travel cot beds with additional thick mattresses for extra comfort + fitted sheets
- High chair
- Toddler stepping stool
- Ground floor stair guards
- Plenty of bright plastic plates, glasses and kids size cutlery
- Plenty of toys and board games – all stored on a separate mezzanine level, a true haven for our little guests
- Snowball makers
La Tzoumaz – true playground for kids!
- Skiing – Swiss Ski school in the village is first class and we can recommend our favourite instructors, ensuring that your kids will not only have fun but progress quickly
- Creche – there is an excellent kids club in the centre of the village, next to the ski lift for kids from 2-6 years of age, which is open Mon-Fri 8.30-6pm during the ski season
- Ice skating – free ice rink in the centre of the village, a firm favourite with our kids (it is possible to hire ice skates at a nearby shop for just 5 Swiss francs)
- Sledging – La Tzoumaz boasts the longest sledge run in Europe going from top of Savolyeres (2,453m) down to the village (1,534m). Would recommend for kids over the age of 6 and just as fun for adults! For smaller kids, can sledge just outside out front door
- Hiking – in winter and especially summer. Trail runs in front of the chalet and leads high in the mountains
